Thumb impression maker

Photograph your thumb (or an ink print on paper) and get a clean thumb impression image to add to forms.

1. Take or choose a photo

Best results: daylight, thumb flat and close to the camera (fill the frame), in focus, plain background. A thumb pressed on a stamp pad and then on white paper also works: tick “Ink print on paper”.

  • This makes a picture of a thumb impression for convenience, for example on a draft or a personal record. Many offices, banks and courts require a real ink impression made in front of an official, or biometric capture; check before using the image in place of one.
  • Photos up to 30 MB; output 600 × 800 pixels. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored: close the page and the photo is gone.
