What works and the tested limits
- EPUB 2 and 3: chapters in reading order, headings as PDF bookmarks, bold, italic, lists, quotes, tables and pictures (including GIF, WebP and SVG, converted). Book styling such as fonts, colours and drop caps is not copied.
- Plain text: blank lines separate paragraphs; lines such as “Chapter 3”, “Part II” or “अध्याय 4” start new chapters with bookmarks.
- Files up to 50 MB and PDFs up to 2,000 pages. DRM-protected books (for example from Kindle or Google Play) cannot be converted. Hindi and ₹ are supported; other Indian scripts are not in the bundled fonts yet.
