BHARIT / Security & your data
Protection starts with clear boundaries.
Practical information about local files, account access and keeping your own backups.
Local processing has real boundaries
Core file tools run in the browser. This avoids uploading files merely to use those tools, but your device still needs protection. Anyone with access to an unlocked browser profile may be able to see locally saved work.
Account and payment protection
BHARIT uses HTTPS, provider-backed authentication and a shared HttpOnly sign-in cookie. Payment credentials are handled by the payment provider. These controls reduce risk; they are not a guarantee that every incident can be prevented.
Keep a copy you can restore
Export important records and keep backups in a location you control. Check that exported files open correctly. Signing in does not automatically back up browser-local documents. Cloud sync and team features must be assessed separately when enabled for your workspace.
